VPI anniversary
is celebrated
The Rappahannock County Office of the V.P.I. Cooperative Extension Service is celebrating the hundredth year anniversary of the state land grant university. The county office is having a special open house for the public on March 17, 1972.
This is one of the first in the list of events to be held around the state and at the University. At the VPI and SU Campus on March 24 a Founder’s Day Celebration will beein with a commemorative Board of Visitors Meeting.
Residents are invited to visit the county Extension Office on March 17 pi- any time and look over the latest information on farm and home operations. □
