On March 9 the Washington Volunteer Fire Department answered an alarm to a car fire approximately two miles east of the town on 211. On March 10 a call was answered at the home of Charlie Jenkins in Jenkins Hollow, Sperryville. The rescue squad was there as a standby unit.
Sperryville Rescue Squad transported Claudie Jenkins from Five Forks to Culpeper Memorial on March 11, and on the same day carried William Aylor from Charlottesville to his home in Sperryville.
On March 13 Ethel Tyner, Old Hollow, was carried to Culpeper Memorial and returned home by the Sperryville unit. March 14, the squad carried William Aylor from home to Charlottesville.
Sperryville Fire Company responded to a field fire Friday on the former Yancey property near Woodville.
