Later, the four-man crew, minus one member, gave a demonstration on the process of delivering a medic from the craft to the ground in a crash or battle area while the chopper hovered overhead.
AFTER THE medic was let down, the jungle pack which unfolds into a seat was lowered to the ground, depicting the apparent skill and ease by which a rescue can be executed. The craft was also equipped for fire fighting and laid a slight pattern of foam on the ground.
The program continued with a few words from retiring Mayor Dorothy C. Davis, who expressed appreciation for the support of the citizens during her long tenure of office. At this time the transfer of authority to newly elected mayor Andrew Kozik took place. He made a short address.
