A PRELIMINARY survey indicates that Hurricane Agnes did more than $100,000 damage to Commission 01 Game and Inland Fisheries’ boat ramps and fishing lakes, reports Commission Executive Director Chester F. Phelps.
Ramps on the James River and>Shenandoah Rivers were severely damaged with some washed out completely. “We won’t know the full extent of the damage to some until the mud and debris can be scraped away to see what structure remains underneath,’’Phelps said.
