Lions slate installed
THE RAPPAHANNOCK LIONS Club installed a new slate of officers at a dinner meeting on June 28. Waller P. Jones of Culpeper, past governor for District 24-A, described the duties of each officer before administering the oath. The president is Kermit A. Weakley with Joel Daczewitz as first vice president. Second and third vice presidents, respectively, are Robert Anderson and Oliver Carver. James W. Coates is secretarytreasurer with Andrew M. Pennington, Lion Tamer and Wieland Johnson, tail twister.
Directors named were Luther B. Stuart and Lester Deal, first year; and Paul A. Nichols and Calvin B. Racer, second year. □
