4-H Camp time is here again, and 4-H members from Rappahannock will enjoy the mountain air along with youth from Clarke and Warren Counties from July 31 through August 5.
Members are asked to return applications for camp by July 10 to the Extension Office.
Anyone interested in providing a partial or full scholarship for a deserving 4-H’er to attend camp is asked to contact the Extension Office. □
Lois Yates on
dean’s list
Lois Yates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates of Sperryville, has been named to the dean’s list at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, for the second semester. She is a 1971 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must make a quality point average of 2.2 on a 3 point scale, with no grade below C. There are approximately 4,500 undergraduate students at the college. □
