THE REV. GEOFFREY SPRINGETT, with his wife Patrice and sons Michael and Jeremy of Balderton, England, arrived in Washington, Va. Thursday. Mr. Springett will serve as rector of Trinity Episcopal Church for a period of eight weeks.
He will be the acting minister in the stead of the Rev. William Hargett who has exchanged pulpits with the Englishman for a like period. The Hargett family left last week by plane for England.
Mr. Springett was educated at Greenford School and received his theological training at Kings College. He was married in 1955 at Wimbledon, where he served his title at Holy. Trinity Church.
From 1958 until the beginning of 1961, they were at All Saints Church Chalfont St. Peter in Buckinghamshire, a beautiful section of the country only half hour by train from the center of London.
