W.C. Jenkins
William Clarence Jenkins, a native of Rappahannock who had lived for a number of years in Arlington, died October 22 in Woodbine Nursing Home, Alexandria. He was born in 1899, the son of the late Boot Jenkins and Lee Jenkins. His wife, Mrs. Nevar Sisk Jenkins died a year ago.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George Jenkins of Culpeper, Mrs. Robert Jenkins of Sperryville and Mrs. Charlotte Mears of Arlington; a son Clarence William Jenkins of Arlington and 22 grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Ellis Jenkins of Woodville.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 28 from the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Gordon George of Culpeper. Burial will be in the family cemetery near Sperryville. Grandsons will act as pallbearers. □
