For many years you have given me the privilege of serving you as Treasurer of Rappahannock County, a position to which I was elevated after having served as Deputy Treasurer under the late C. R. Wood from 1936 through 1949. During this" period it has been my belief that those working with me and I should give you the best possible service at all times at a reasonable cost. We have diligently tried to safeguard your tax njoney and toperform to the best of our ability on your behalf. For the past eleven years Mrs. Frances A. Foster has served as my sole assistant. As my health has declined she has taken over mbre and morfe of the duties and in the last year she has performed every task required in the office.
