administration felt kindly toward us and decided to let the students have a day of rest,, so don’t come to school Friday, except of course to see the basketball game.
Saturday another game will be played in th e high school gym. The RCHS girls team will compete with the Womans Club while the Rappahannock Jaycees play the Orange Jaycees. We’ll want to see our Panther girls in action and I understand the local Jaycees are pretty good too.
Let me correct a terrible mistake I made several weeks ago. I said that the basketball team was selling trash baskets, but really the baseball team sponsored the sale of them with proceeds used for their uniforms and equipment Our baseball Panthers are on the go!! Sorry for the error. □
