As of July 1,1973 most if not all Federal funds (excepting school, welfare and highway construction) will be channeled through the District Planning Commissions and in most Federal departments (HUD & Environmental Protective Agency) localities not belonging to a Planning District will not be eligible for federal funds.
Federal funds have been used in the past in Rappahannock County without strings attached. The Sperryville Rescue Squad7 was organized and the ambulance purchased with a majority of/Federal Funds, -radios (or the Flint Hill and Amissville Fire Departments were purchased mostly with Federal funds

She was treated and released at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal where she was taken by Front Royal Rescue Squad. □
