The VPI Animal Industry Day Tour held Friday at Blacksburg and attended by 76 Rappahannock farmers was sponsored here by the following firms: Rappahannock Farmers Cooperative, Sperryville; Rappahannock National Bank, Washington, Farmers & Merchant’s National Bank, Flint Hill Branch; Deutz Tractor Sales & Service operated by Charles E. Sutphin, Washington; Southern States Front Royal Cooperative, Inc. Two chartered busses took the men and women to Blacksburg. Emory Russell of Flint Hill was among the tour group.
