Editor’s note—what we are dealing with here, obviously, is a dyed-in-thewool, flag-waving, bellson, super-fan of the automotive age—even to credit cards, chain motels and a desire to see every twisting country road transformed into a “fairly straight cantilever hung roadway.” Tut tut.
