A new natural style litter container, designed and developed in Virginia, is being introduced throughout the United States.
The litter container, which has a large easy to use mouth, is called a Pelican. Manufactured of natural leather finished aluminim, the container is a product of Reynolds Metals Company.
Research conducted by the University of Pennsylvania shows that Peli-cans are especially effective in I reducing highway and ! street litter. Because the containers encourage public use and are virtually maintenance free, they are finding wide acceptance for use in parks, playgrounds
