Mary Elizabeth Robbins became the bride of James Van Lowen DeBergh, Jr. on Saturday, July 14. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Lee Robbins of Hampton and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. DeBergh, Sr. of Front Royal.
Dr. John H. Garber, grandfather of the bride, . and the Rev. Paul R. Garber, her uncle, officiated at the double ring ceremony which was performed in the Hampton Baptist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Mrs. Edward Runyard Channel of Portsmouth was matron of honor and Miss Susan Lee Crigler of Hampton was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jane Eileen Jordan of Hampton, Miss Ellen Glenn Wood of Huntsville, Ala., cousin of the bride;
