THE GENEROSITY, cooperation and hard work on the part of over 200 Friends of Rappahannock County Library resulted in the gross proceeds of $3896.56 from the Fourth of July Super Flea Market.
Two months of concentrated effort of the many individuals and groups involved paid off, and according to a spokesman for the Library Board “Sincere thanks are expressed to the county for its enthusiastic participation which is making the survival of the library possible.”
The entertainment program, organized and produced by Mrs. Mollie Van Brederode, was a lively patriotic holiday celebration. Among the local talent included was Sperryville Boy Scout Troop #
