THE FINANCE committee of Amissville Ruritan Club reported good receipts from the July barbecue, declaring the event a success and announcing winners of the prizes given away in conjunction with the dinner.
The first prize, a ham, was awarded Walter Minter of Warrenton while Lev Coffren of Bethesda, Md. received a pony, the next prize.
