MAE RAMEY of Flint Hill driving a ’63 Chevrolet was struck by a ’68 Chevrolet operated by Marie Stead of Strasburg.

The Ramey vehicle was making a left turn as the Stead car attempted to pass. Mrs. Ramey was charged with defective equipment, namely, turn signals. No injury resulted, said Trooper Baines.

A third crash occurred op-^Route 231 five miles south of Sperryville. Philip Hoffer of Charlottesville operating a ’73 Ford, skidded on wet pavement and struck a bridge abutment.

Damage was estimated at $1200 by Trooper Baines
