“On April 11, April 23, May 24, and July 12, 1973, Autotelcom, Inc.; Great Eastern Communications Com* pany; Advanced Radio Communications Company and RCC of Virginia Inc. files their respective applications with the Virginia State Corporation Commission requesting that appropriate certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity be issued authorizing each applicant to provide radio common carrier service in the territory or territories which each respective applicant shows on copies of U.S.C.G.S. maps attached to its application.

“The territory in question extends southwardly from the Potomac River to U. S. Route 60 and in the northern portion lies between the Bull Run - Catoctin - Pignut Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains and in the southern portion lies between territory already certified to be served from base stations located in Fredericksburg and Richmond on the east and Charlottesville and Lynchburg on the west. No applicant has requested a certificate to serve this entire territory; however, each applicant has requested a certificate to serve a portion or all of the same territory requested by at least one other applicant.

“The applications with maps attached are on file with and may be seen at the office of the Division of Public Utilities, State Corporation Commission, Blanton Building, Richmond, Virginia.
