ONE HOG SELLS FOR $38,000-Randall Updike reports that at the World Series of hog shows and sales, the National Barrow and Breeder Stock Show and Sale in Austin, Minnesota,—the following prices were paid: Champion Duroc Boar $38,000; Champion Yorkshire Boar $30,000; Champion Hampshire Boar $26,000. All of these boars plus seventy-five percent of all Duroc, Yorkshire and Hampshire breeding stock sold were purchased by Japanese agriculture representatives.□
