SOME 15 Agricultural Specialists from V.P.I. and the Soil Conservation Service toured the 972-acre farm of H.L. Manwaringon September 26.

Mr. Manwaring fertilizes his fescue fields in early August, and his livestock feed on the accumulated grass during the winter and early spring. When snow covers the ground, the livestock feed on large bales of hay.
