Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Mildred Ann Smith of Spring House Farm, Washington, Va., widow of David Blackwell Smith, died October 2, 1973 at Oak Springs of Warrenton. She was 88.

A graveside funeral service will be held in Warrenton Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Jennings Hobson of Trinity Episcopal Church.

She was born at Cedar Grove Farm, Prince William County, daughter of the late William Pendleton Leachman and Mary Virginia Strother Leachman.

Survivors include two sons, Harry Lee Smith of Washington, Va., and David B. Smith, Jr. of Olney, 111. and a daughter Mrs. William Litsey of Hampton; 8 grandchildren and 13greatgrandchildren.

Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Douglas Janney of Fredericksburg, Mrs. James Metcalf of Chestertown, Md., Mrs. Allen Oliver of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Mrs. Robert H. Smith of Manassas; and a brother William H. Leachman of Washington, D.C.D
