THE meet scheduled with Montevideo, William Monroe, and Central was cancelled Tuesday because of rain.
The next cross country meet is with Randolph Macon. It will be held at the Academy on Saturday, October 6 at 2 p.m.
The National Honor Society met last week with its new officers. Cassie Frye conducted the meeting as President, along with Mary Moore Kilby, Vice President. Kathy Dwyer holds the office of SecretaryTreasurer and Miss Davis is the sponsor. They have many plans of which we will hear more at a later date.
College Day will be held October 9 at Warren County High School in Front Royal. Representatives from colleges all through Virginia will speak to the seniors.
The JV “Lady Panthers” played Warren County Tuesday night. Even after a valiant effort, toward the end they were defeated 2614.
The next game is scheduled for October 10 at 7 p.m. It will be at the Luray High School and both the Varsity and JV teams will play.D
