Mrs. Davis cited the “rebirth” of the county’s historical society and the formation of a new youth group as helping the county organize for the Bicentennial, and “assuring that all spheres of society will be involved.”
Two major projects that will be undertaken in 1976 are the dedication of the historical society building, ,and restoration of the Leverage Trail, a route west for the pioneers, which Mrs. Davis hopes will be a joint project with Fauquier County.
