THE Division of Motor Vehicles has called for all Virginia drivers to notify the Agency immediately of any change of address since their driver licences were issued, or last renewed, as a preparatory step in the event of possible nationwide gasoline rationing.
In announcing the request, Commissioner Vern L. Hill noted that if rationing comes to pass, a valid driver's licence with current address and zip code may become the basic and most important identification document to qualify the private user for an authorization card to obtain gas ration coupons.
