SOME members of Rappahannock Homemakers Clubs, joined by several ladies from adjacent counties, took the Goodwill industries Embassy .tour in Washington, D. C. Saturday. They went by bus to the city where they visited the embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Imperial Embassy of Iran, Embassy of Japan, Pakistan and the Netherlands, the Apostolic Delegation and the Delegation of the Commission of the European Communities.
Those from Rappahannock included Elsie Dodson, Russie Miller, Barbara Gentry, Alice Pullen, Frances Bywaters, Frances Salter, Alice Virginia Butler, Ethel Pullen, all of Flint Hill.
From Amissville Mary Priest, Violet Cooley, Virginia Cloud, Frances Lawrence, Rosalie Bowey, Ruth Embrey, Woodville ladies were Myrtle Falls, Betty Wood, Blondina Titchenell, Sue Titchenell, accompanied by Tbe Rev.
