A fund raising project initiated by the Rappahannock Jaycees in conjunction with the athletic department of Rappahannock County High School was concluded at the recent afternoon baseball game at the school. Mrs. Alma Nethers of Amissville was awarded the $100 cash prize.
Second prize went to Ellen Fletcher'of Washington, this was $50 and a third prize of $25 went to Mrs. Shirley Ann Ellis of Luray. Funds realized from the project were used to purchase a baseball pitching machine for the athletic department. □
