second in the high jump and her record is 5’. She also placed fourth in the long jump with 16’ 3 1/4”. Lisa Day was sixth in the discus setting a new school record of 93’. Katie Pendleton did not place in this meet but she will be competing in the state meet Saturday along with Margarett and Maureen. Her best attempt in the long jump is 16’ 2”.
The girls who are going out for cheerleading have been practicing after school Wednesday and today. Final tryouts will be held Tuesday. □
