THE RAPPAHANNOCK Recreation Association will hold an open house beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at the swimming pool of South Wales Golf Club. All residents of Rappahannock County are invited.
The purpose of the open house is to bring county youth and adults together in an informal atmosphere to plan summer recreation activities, and to discuss methods of raising funds for the new Youth Center.
South Wales is located east on Route 211 toward Warrenton; turn right at the blinker light on Route 229 and proceed for a quarter mile to the South Wales entrance. Bring a picnic supper and your bathing suit. There will be no charge for use of the pool or tennis courts.
