Walter Truettner of Boyce, traveling west on Route 211 west of Washington in this 1973 Volkswagen station wagon, got into a precarious condition last Friday. As he slowed for traffic stopping for a dog on the highway, his car swerved, struck and killed the dog, and turned over. He was not injured and no charges were placed by Trooper J.A. Watson.
