There is room in that program for landowners, farmers, FFA and 4-H Clubs, scout troops, science classes, garden clubs, fishermen, and governmental agencies to cooperate on desireable watershed management practices.
Villages, people, and all the things that support them and are discarded by them are part of the watershed community. Improving even the smallest stream in Rappahannock now will result in better water quality in Virginia and help bring our country closer to its goal of a pollution free water environment by 1985.
Let’s show our friends downstream that Rappahannock County leads the way in caring for the quality of our streams. Afterall, they can’t clean up their water until we clean up - ours.D
