AN ARTS and Craft Workshop sponsored by Virginia Tech and Rappahannock County Extension Service and Extension Homemakers will be held Monday, February 10, in the parish hall in Washington. Making decorated egg jewelry will be taught at 10 a.m. and tole pictures (three dimensional paper art) at 1 p.m.
Tole pictures are created by cutting and arranging three pictures of the same design. Mrs. Marsh of the Busy Bee Craft Shop in Harrisonburg will instruct the crafts. There will be a registration fee of $1.75 for the egg jewelry and $2.50 for the tole pictures to be paid by Monday, February 3.
At least 12 persons must register for each craft in order for the workshop to be held. The registration fee covers instructions and materials to be used. Each participant will make a piece of egg jewelry and/or a tole picture.
