STATE Police speeding arrests for the first half of 1975 climbed to 110,896, well above the 55,374 and 72,271 for the same periods of 1973 and 1974, says Colonel H.W. Burgess, the Department’s Superintendent.
He said the arrests were for all types of speed law violations and not only for those of the 55 mile per hour limit, although the great majority was for the latter type.
