4-H trip

A trip to the National Zoo in Washington, a tour of the Washington Monument and a picnic lunch are scheduled for 4-H youth of Rappahannock on Wednesday, August 6. Four-H members and their parents are encouraged to attend. Young people from eight up are invited to attend. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent.

The entire group will leave the Extension Office at 9:30 a.m. and return to Washington at 5 p.m. The cost of the tour including bus fare, insurance and a coke is $5 per person. There are some $2.50 scholarships available at the Extension Office if needed. The tour money must be paid by August 1.

Those attending are advised to wear good walking shoes and be sure to bring a lunch. If you have any questions call 675-3619.□
