Grammar course^
Lord Fairfax Community College will offer a course in College Grammar (ENGL 167), 3 credits, during the current Summer Quarter. The first class meeting will be held Monday, July 28, from 7 p.m.10 p.m. and will meet each Monday and Wednesday night through August 27.
The course, to be taught by Miss Andrea Kemper, will be a college level review of grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling, with additional emphasis on vocabulary building, essay analysis, and the writing of effective sentences and well-developed paragraphs which are unified and coherent.
Registration for the course will be on a walk-in, first come, first served basis from 6 p.m. - 7p.m., Monday, July 28, at the College. Tuition will be $18.75 for in-state students and $63.00 for out-ofstate students.
