Solid waste recycling was discussed and an announcement made that pure aluminum cans would bring 15 cents per pound in Culpeper and 12 cents in Front Royal. The recycling collection center in the town is under way, also.
C.J. Miller, representing Rappahannock National Bank, complimented the council on the erection of bank parking signs on the street in front of that firm and he said they had been very effective. He inquired about the cost of a building permit in the town concerning the addition which will be made to the bank building, and learned that the fee is $10.
