Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Moore recently spent several days with their daughter, Mrs. M. E. Nielsen, Sr., and Mr. Nielsen. Sunday, August 10 the family group of eight celebrated the birthday of Dr. ,Marvin E. Nielsen, Jr. of Latrojbe, Pa. Present were his brothers, Sterling “Buz” and Philip and their sister, Suzy. Buz Nielsen, discharged after four years in the Navy, spent August 13 with his greatgrandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Chastain, and his great-aunt, Mrs. Bessie Parks, before leaving the same day for Anchorage, Alaska where he plans to work and attend college. Mrs. Moore accompanied him from Pennsylvania and is spending a few weeks at Cedarloft. Mr. Moore and Philip Nielsen are in Cape May, N. J. on a fishing trip.
April and Rhonda Williams were ^Friday overnight guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mahoney, in Front Royal. □
