MAYOR Peter Kramer reported that the county Board of Supervisors has passed a resolution to have a portion of the bill concerning powerlines in the state code amended and he wished that the. town would add a resolution also and urge the Virginia Municipal League to act in this manner when it meets in the near future. He said that Del. French Slaughter would introduce the bill in the General Assembly.
It was suggested by the mayor that the town ordinances be studied and revised where necessary. The assistance of the town attorney, George H. Davis would be sought. A revised version will be presented the council for consideration.
