A NUMBER of traffic mishaps on Rappahannock roads have been reported recently. Saturday night several charges were placed against Benjamin S. Mallory of Castleton after he ran into the Huntly post office building on Route 522. The building and Mallorys 1970 Dodge pickup were damaged slightly. Earlier the same night a vehicle owned by Collis W. Dodson of Flint Hill was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
Monday on Route 211 in front of Parkway Gift Shop westofSperryville two vehicles collided. Operating a 75 Jeep pickup was Edward Niemer, Jr. of Roseville, Mich, which collided with a 73 Chevrolet pickup driven by Kenneth Cubbage of Harrisonburg.
According to Trooper R. A. Baines, Neimer was cited for failing to drive to the right of the road. Damage was estimated at $400 to the Jeep and set at $100 to the Chevrolet.
