SAMUEL WILLETT of Amissville was cited for following too closely on August 2 when he struck another vehicle on Route 211 half a mile west of Amissville. He was driving a 71 Pontiac and struck a 69 Chevrolet operated by Mary Pearson of Warrenton. There were no injuries and damage was minor to the vehicles.
Arlene Frye of Boston in a 1967 Ford collided with a 73 Chevrolet pickup driven by Jesse Gartin, Jr. of Madison on July 31 south of Sperryville on Route 707.
