Mrs John S. Dodson accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Vest and family of Virginia Beach returned last Thursday from a trip to Texas and Mexico where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Dodson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dodson and daughter, Michelle in Houston. Saturday, Mrs. Dodson and Mr. and Mrs. Vest were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hessert in Hyattsville, Md. Sunday, they celebrated Mr. Dodson’s 73rd birthday when other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Donald Good and family of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Dodson and family of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Atkins and family, Mrs. Joanne Buraker and son, David.
Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance spent Thursday and Friday with Capt. and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer and daughters, Nicole and Heidi in Reston. The Maeyers left Friday to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Maeyer in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Dr. and Mrs. A. W. Kagey and daughter, Kristi of Roanoke visited the Swindler families here on Saturday.
