Veterans Administration Hospital in Perry Point, Md. Tuesday after a week’s visit with his sister, Mrs. Walter H. Williams and Mr. Williams. Callers during Mr. Pearson’s stay were Mrs. Lucy Brown, John Pearson, Mrs. Fred Pearson, Mrs. Sue Krause and Kim, Mark Pearson, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler, all of Front Royal, and Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Pearson, Jr., and Teddie of Florida. Mr. Gilbert Smith took Mr. Pearson back to the hospital.
Mrs. Bradley Williams and daughter, Mrs. Thomas Leake and Tony were in Winchester Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Leake and children and Mrs. Williams were in Manassas one evening 0J1 business.
Everett W. Powell Jr. of Front Royal, an active member of the Chester Gap Baptist Church, was honored by members and friends Sunday afternoon with a going away party at the church. Mr. Powell left Monday for Pineville, Ky. to enter Clear Creek Baptist Institute where he will study for the ministry.
