The 21 couples were scheduled to play on four courts locally, with the finals set for Labor Day, but all of the play was crowded into the one evening.
WINNERS from the four groups scheduled were Jim Moore, Dana Adamson from the Snead court; Ginny Swaim and Fanning Baumgardner from the Krebser court; Vivien Marsh and Hugh Exton from the Parrish court and from Kilpatricks, Avery Faulkner and Cindy Bow.
The picnic Monday was also held indoors at Piedmont Farm, Sperryville, home of Mrs. N. K. G. Tholand.D
