State 4-H horse
show coming up
THE 14th annual Virginia State 4-H Horse Show will be held September 18-20 at the State Fair of Virginia, Richmond. The show will feature 4-H’ers and horses in nine perfomances with a total of 88 classes, said Arden N. Huff, associate professor of animal science at Virginia Tech.
The show is designed for all types, kinds and sizes of horses and ponies. Show divisions include equitation, showmanship, hunters, miscellaneous, pleasure, roadster pony, saddle horse and saddle pony, walking horse, western, gymkhana and racking horses.
