Rappahannock County was toured next, where the bus stopped briefly at James W. (Jim Bill) Fletcher’s rambling house, Montpelier. The house, which is more than 100 feet lone and one room wide, was built by Hessians during the Revolution, said Rappahannock Supervisor Pete Luke, who narrated the tour through Rappahannock.
