Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Lucy Goodall of Etlan; four brothers, Robert Nethers of Flint ~ Hill, Nelson Nethers of Sperryville, Clifton Nethers, Amissville and Ray Nethers of Stephen City. A funeral service was held Wednesday at the Clore Funeral Home, Culpeper conducted by the Rev. Peter Burkett. Interment was in the Etlan Cemetery.
Mrs. Summons
Mrs. Eva Tabitha Summons, 74, of Washington died at her home October 18, 1975 following a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Summons; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Richards and Miss Virginia Summons, both of Plainfield, N. J., and Mrs. Ora Roy of Alexandria; three sons, John M. Summons, Howard Summons and Roger Summons, all of Canton, Ohio; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington. The Rev. John Pendleton will conduct the service with burial in the family cemetery.
