Rappahannock citizens who want to testify concerning the proposed wilderness designation for the Shenandoah National Park are invited to attend the public hearing on Thursday, November 6, at 10 a.m. in the Dirksen Senate office building, First Street and Constitutional Avenue, N.E. Washington, D.C.
The hearing is sponsored by the Subcommittee on Parks and Recreation of the Senate Interior and Insular Affairs Committee. Senator Harry F. Byrd’s wilderness bill, S. 885, will be considered.
