A RASH of wrecks occurred in Rappahannock during the past two weeks.
Sunday, on Route 211 a half mile west of Washington, a rear end collision took place involving Larry Dale Woodard in a 1967 Chevrolet and Lawrence Allen Jenkins of Sperryville. He was driving a 57 Ford. According to Trooper C.A. Moore, Woodard said he was driving when he was struck by the Jenkins vehicle. Charges are pending, said the officer.
Clarence B. Johnson of Woodville struck a deer Saturday night. The animal jumped into the road, Route 522 south of Woodville and Mr. Johnson hit it.
Monday at the intersection in front of Sperryville Corner Store a laborer from Florida was cited for failing to yield the right of way
