Preparations for the Rappahannock Hunt Point-to-Point Races include many things of which the public is unaware, one of these being the search and subsequent plugging of groundhog holes. Fanning Baungardner and Col. Dale Metzinger have been busy doing just that. The men stand in the holes to indicate their depth, and it is evident nrhat would happen if they were not filled in.
