John Garfield Sowers, 35 of Springfield died February 9, 1976. He was assistant maintenance foreman at the White House in Washington, D.C. He was born in Front Royal, the son of William M. Sowers and Mrs. MozeUe Henry Sowers, both of Front Royal.
Surviving with his parents, are his widow, Barbara Pullen Sowers of Springfield, a son, John Japhen Sowers, at home, and two brothers, Edward Sowers and Ralph Sowers, both of Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday in the chapel of Turn
